GeoDirectory SupportNavigation Options? – GeoDirectory Support https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/navigation-options/feed Fri, 26 Dec 2025 11:04:29 +0000 http://bbpress.org/?v=2.5.14-6684 en-US https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/navigation-options/#post-30282 <![CDATA[Navigation Options?]]> https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/navigation-options/#post-30282 Sat, 07 Feb 2015 18:50:04 +0000 veneuphoria I have 2 questions.
1) Can I change the title for the Listing on the main Navigation I would rather it read something like “View Listings”

2) Can I nest some of my listings under a new header that I can create, so for example, under the “View Listings” I could have Venues (places) and then another for Vendors where there would be a slide out that lists the type of vendors I have (Musicians, Bakers, Bars etc.). I don’t want to make Vendors a “Places Category” because I will have to forgo the detailed searches specific to each vendor type that I would like to do under each. If you look at my attachment I would like everything below Venue to be grouped into Vendor and then slide out on mouse over.
Thank you

Or better, you can create a menu and use your own text/link pointing/nesting to the category/link you want, and not using the standard GD menu items (you need to disable them in Design/Navigation tab)

I went to add the links to the menu and they are not appearing. I activated them in the advanced options and disabled the listings in GD and they are still not there. Any Ideas?

I am using Avada

I fixed it! I swear that when I was looking at it there was no “link” option in the menu choices. I went back and they were there. Probably a PEBKAC (problem exists between keyboard and chair) problem. Sorry if I wasted your time! You guys are awesome BTW!
Thanks!!!

From he same tab you can decide what to show and don’t show
