I’m having problems regarding slugs.

Basically I just want to achieve:

1. I have a category named “Local Services” on Place Post Type.
2. I have a category named “Local Services” on Events Post Type.
3. I want to achieve like: http://www.mysite.com/places/local-services and http://www.mysite.com/events/local-services
4. Problem is I can’t have the same slug for Place and Event. 🙁

Please help me achieve this kind of setup. Or what should I do since I need to have the same category per Event and per Place.

That’s how wordpress works.

1. So my requirements above is not possible? Even if the link is different like /events/local-services and /places/local-services?
2. I think I’m not the only one who happen to have this kind of requirement. Hoping there’s a way to make this happen.

WordPress does not work properly with duplicated slugs.
If you want to propose any changes to that, you will have to submit them to WordPress, this is nothing a GD can help you with.
All I can suggest is to use local-services, localservices, local-service, localservice etc.
