GD by default doesn’t add id=geodir-main-content to any page. You can check in the demo…

For all pages including the detail page the id is geodir-content.

I’m assuming here, but I think the problem comes when using 1 of the compatibility pack or a child theme of some other theme.

In that case, the problem can be easily solved, by modifying the functions used to adjust templates.
