I am running the latest WordPress version and have noticed that when adding a “Place” the image upload area is not responding.

It displays the “Select” button and says that images can be dragged into the area – but neither method works.

Clicking “Select” does nothing. Dragging images into the area results in the browser taking you to the filename. (Latest Chrome & Safari)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could be a plugin, have you tried disabling all non GD plugin?
