Places page won't display recently added listings

Hi,
In our website http://www.holidaymonk.com/places/ I don’t find recently added listings. It’s showing past listings. I have attached screen shot of this page and can be compared with http://www.holidaymonk.com/sitemap.xml. How to solve this?

In the homepage (as in screenshot), For the category Himachal Pradesh the category icon is not shown. I tried removing and adding icon but did not help. I have highlighted it on attached screenshot.
Sorry if these are silly questions or bugs but I don’t want to mess up with database so.

My suggestion: Please add the option to enable/ disable slider in property listing page. When disabled it should display a wide image in slider space. This could really speed up the load time I guess.

Hello, you mean that if you add a new listing, it won’t appear in the listings?

About the mission category icon , have you updated your GD plugin? (a new version has been released yesterday, which includes the fix to the category icon)

Yes Simone, the listing is not shown in http://www.holidaymonk.com/places/ since “places” lists all the listings there.

Category icon issue is solved after updating the plugin and removing and re uploading category icon.

You did not add the Sort by added time, I’ added it for you.
As default there was the sorting by price. You can set the “added time” sorting as default going in Geodirectory/Place Settings/Sorting options tab.
Now it is not set as default

Ok Simone but it should show by befault the latest listings.

And regarding writing blogs – How can I allow other users to write blogs? I have given a user called “Gurudev” editor role but he is not seen any option to create blog or edit blogs. Please help me if it is outside wordpress context.

I enabled Allow user to see wp-admin area in geodirectory. I guess I have to use other plugins to give permissions and roles to them.

How can I make only Admin, Editor, Author and Contributor to see wp-admin area. The default subscriber should not see admin area.

You can use third party plugin, such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/members/
