That way I can show cities by country, because it shows everything and that will confuse users.

If I live in X country, I want to be able to click cities there and not see 80 cities all mixed up.

That will list all cities in the region or country navigated to.

Thats why a country based city chooser is needed. Or A widget cities by country.

The idea and need is very simple, if you have a worldwide directory, why would you like or need to show every single city in the world in the same widget ? It makes no sense.

If I live in the UK, I want to see cities in the UK, if you live in Mexico, why do I have to choose a city in a 500 list from all the world ?

Makes sense ?

Then only regions for a selected country will be displayed, and only cities for selected country and region will be displayed.
