Ok, on the homepage, having everything set to just 1 Post Type,

– The map, displays 1 post type until you choose another,

– The Popular Post View Widget displays 1 post type until you choose another

Is frustrating.

Would it really be so bad to have an “All” option like there is in the categories on that widget?

I know and understand that you guys said that this option of “All” isn’t there to stop the site from lagging, but then you said I can use multiple widgets on the homepage set to different post types….. But surely having multiple widgets on the homepage set to different post types would lag more than having 1 widget set to “All” post types?

Then I could have 1 “Featured” widget on the homepage with 1 listing from each post type and sell that 1 listing as a featured space on the homepage.

I know that you can set the Popular Post Widget to display “use current viewing post type” which works fine when you’re browsing around the site, but it doesn’t work on the homepage, it always just shows the 1 post type that its been set to.

Please add an “All” option to the post types on this widget, it just makes sense.
