GTmetrix showed that our yslow rating was at a C, showing slow page load time.

We have tried Caching programs in the past but I can only remember having grief with the ones we tried. Can you recommend any that work well with
GD?

Hostgator sent us a code to insert at the top of our .htaccess file but that
completely shutdown the site. Any ideas in that direction?
