Search result page is blank on live but not on local

    I recently inherited a new client, brettapproved.com, which was migrated from it’s original host. Since moving hosts the search results page is now consistently blank. No error in the logs so I have no idea what is going on. To make things more confusing, I have an exact clone of the site running on my local where search results work without issue. The only difference I can think of is that the live site uses cloudflare, but I’ve paused cloudflare’s service and purged all cache and I’m still seeing the blank page.

    Additionally, if I manually goto a /places url for a specific locale on the live site, I see the expected results page.

    Any suggestions?

    GDV2 is awesome. Have you considered upgrading?

    The missing images are definitely not the problem. It seems to be a possible issue with a rewrite rule or something. Anytime I hit a URL with the 

    ?geodir_search

    query parameter, the page fails to load and no error is presented, just a blank page. However if I navigate directly to any of the /places urls the template loads without issue and lists all locations. I really need this to be resolved. I’ve tried re-saving my permalinks and clearing cache, but nothing makes a difference.

    Hi Jason,

    It looks like you have used short php open tab “<?” instead of “<?php” in search template, so template is not rendering correctly because PHP setting for “short_open_tag” is “Off”. Use “<?php” or change value for “short_open_tag” to “On”.

    Provide us FTP credentials if this not works for you.
