If you do, then you just need to assign a background image to the widget area, then use the search css from one of the genesis themes already released.

If you don’t already have a widget area, you’ll need to create one in your functions.php file, and add code to display it in front-page.php

I can give you some sample code if you let me know a bit more about your setup 🙂
