People are able to get the Featured listing upgrade options in the FREE listing choice. They should not be able to do this since i set limits on what can show for free listings, but they are able to do things that only paid listings can do.

/listings/united-states/alabama/alexandria/ecig-south-2/ is a free listing who loaded 12 images and 2 catagories for FREE, when this should only be able to be done with paid listing.

This is the 2nd time something like this happened, the first I let go since thought was just weird, now looks like something is a bug in system.

Please help, what is going on?

They choose the paid option and begin filling out the info, then after filling in information they switch to free option and submit. The system does not delete data that they already submitted in available fields while submitting data under paid option plan, and modify to reduce to free plan options.

ecig-south-2 isn’t really a free listing, it’s an hybrid that shouldn’t be possible to create.

What happened is that your default price for gd_place was “Premium Classified Listing” and was inactive (it shouldn’t be possible) and when the user went to the add listing page, there was no price selected and the form didn’t know basically what needed to be restricted. He filled in all fields and submitted and went through as if the payment manager wasn’t active basically.

Now I’ve made the Gold price default and this will never happen again. I also ask to the developer to make sure that inactive prices can’t be made default.

For the featured sorting not working as expected I’ve asked Stiofan to have a look at it, because all I tested didn’t seem to fix the issue. He’ll have to check what is messing up with the queries using query monitor.

We’ll keep you posted.
