Show categories in Tab of Details Page

Dear support team,
is it possible to show the categories that a post has in the “additional info” tab on the dateils page?

In the settings, I can check to show the categories on the details page … but although the listing is part of a category, I cannot see it.

Did I maybe hide it without noticing? Or do I have to make sth else to see it?

You have hidden the categories that normally would be listed above the listing like at http://wpgeo.directory/attractions/united-states/illinois/chicago/landmark/crown-fountain/

If you delete this from your CSS the categories will show (but not in a tab):
.geodir_post_taxomomies {display: none;}

ah, OK, I understand.

I was hoping to be able to get the categories within a tab instead of above tab / below picture.

There isn’t by chance some shortcode to place it within a tab?

There is a possibility to add the categories custom field to “Show on detail page” which should add it to a tab. But that is currently not working.
I might get Stiofan to have a look at your question too.

That would be perfect.
Yes, that field is what I checked in the beginning, wondering why I do not see it in the details … OK, let’s see if you can correct that. For now, showing the categories is an OK workaround.

Hi,

in the change log of 1.3.4 I read:

In CPT settings if you set the category to show on the listings page or the details page it does not work/show – FIXED

So yes it should work like that now.

Is it not for your website? have you uploaded to latest?
