Using: GDF Modern Child Theme

I apologize in advance if I am missing something obvious, but is there an easy way, in GDF Modern Child Theme, for me to assign background color to only the title/header areas of the sidebar as it is in the Geo Bold Genesis Child Theme demo (blue background color behind “My Dashboard”, “Latest Places”, etc…)?
