If I allow the browser to use my location, the search box will automatically do a search for me, even though I didn’t click anything or do a search. It’s like, now that the site knows where I am it automatically goes to http://wheretobaby.com/location/me/ – why does this happen? Seems like a bug to me.

if you share your location when the browser asks, it will redirect and show listing from the location nearast to you.

The page showing results near you and within the radius you defined is http://wheretobaby.com/location/me/

That is correct if you have GeoLocation enabled.
