I was wondering if anyone else is having issues with the load speed of any of their post types in specific, especially those including many listings.

On my site http://www.directoriomediconacional.com I found 2 days ago around midnight the site was slow and on certain pages crashed, since I find visiting the site the initial (home) page loads normally and most CPT’s while somewhat slower to load than before work fine however when I click the Medicos link it takes 6-15 seconds to load variably each time it loads.

Could this be due to the number of listings (>17000) on this post type?
If so is there any way to speed this up?
