When we first visit our site all listings will appear. After the first search GD shows the results – when I go back on main page I cannot find all the other locations again like on first page launch. When I clear cache they are all back. Can you please tell me where to deactivate the function that always all locations appear?

Searching or viewing some listings is like zooming in, and the location switcher works to zoom out.
WP admin > GD > multilocation > Show location switcher in menu > YES
