1. In my main Nav bar my Location Selector is gone and has been replaced by my blog page (called The Hydrant). See screenshot The Location selector used to be where The Hydrant is (The hydrant was never in the main nav bar). I have not made any changes or modifications to the setting since the update. Also a screenshot of the Nave bar settings is included for reference maybe the update changed something???

2. I thought that the “Favorites” dropdown in My Dashboard was going to be returned in the new update but it is not there.

I am using WP 4.0, X-theme, renew stack

Any assistance is appreciated as always 🙂

Cheers
Stacey

And also, if the menu is set on GD (in Geodirectory/Design/ and then in the Navigation tab)

OK, how The Hydrant got inserted in the Main Nav Menu I will never know – so I removed it.

Second, you were correct I had to go to GD > Design > Navigation and RESELECT Primary Menu (under Nav Locations) and my Change Location is back in action. I wonder why this was erased during update?

what do you mean by “I thought that the “Favorites” dropdown in My Dashboard was going to be returned in the new update but it is not there”.

We never removed it.

Please try to explain the situation with a little more details…

Thx

see: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/some-my-dashboard-links-missing/

See reply #17261 & #18048

The bottom line is that My Favorites dropdown under My Dashboard is not showing.

I hope this helps.

Thanks
Stacey

for the search problem not using Fetch and going outside the search form, it is because of a customization.

http://www.muttmaps.com/restaurants/ in this page the customize my search is open by default. That is the problem, it is opening it by default everywhere, even where it shouldn’t.

Ask who ever did this to make sure it is open only when needed.

Your favorites problem doesn’t have anything to do with that. In that case it wasn’t appearing because add listing was disabled. Stiofan fixed that, but in your case add listing is enable.

Was that widget customized in any way?

Let us know,

Thx

Search
I did add a script to in GD > Design > Scripts > Header that I found in this post by Vikas
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/customze-advanced-search-widget/

<script>
jQuery(document).ready(function(){

if(jQuery(‘.geodir-filter-container .customize_filter’).length){

jQuery(‘.geodir-filter-container .customize_filter’).show();

jQuery(‘.geodir-search input.geodir_submit_search’).hide();

jQuery(‘.geodir-search input.showFilters’).hide();

}

});

It seemed like a good idea to give a more facet search look & feel. I guess I will delete it because I do not know how to fix it. (but just goes to show that I do search for things before tormenting you guys 🙂 ). I just remembered doing this last weekend.

Favorites
Could you tell me where this “add listing” is? Just so I know. Everything there is show perfect!

You guys rock!
Stacey

If you had all post types disabled there, the favourite was not showing in the widget. That is the problem described in the link you posted and that Stiofan fixed.

Your problem seems different. DId you customized the widget in any way?

Let us know,

thx

Is it Ok if you close out this as resolved and I open a new topic? The Search Widget when you put it in the sidebar is not responsive when viewed in full size.
