What i did is i downloaded the sample file, and change the value accordingly. still, it is not work at all, the error message “0 record(s) inserted.

5 out of 5 record(s) could not be inserted due to invalid/blank post type. Only use geodirectory’s post type.”

Please advice.

If you’re still stuck, post your URL and admin details in a private message, and your CSV file.

We had a look at the issue of the multiple line formatting and we fixed it. Stiofan is adding the fix right now to your website.

However there are several other things wrong in your install.

1) plugins outdated. You should always keep them up to date. I’ve updated them all now. Please go to GeoDirectory >> Autoupdates and add your wpgeodirectory forum password (the password used to access this website) so you will be able to easily update in the future.

2) I think you deavtivated MultiLocation while you had several issues with your location. You had “city: – region: – country: Malaysia. You can’t have fake locations in your database. In addition you had entered Kuala Lumpur several times. I reactivated multilocations and cleaned that out for you, merging all duplicates, you still have a wrong location though klcc, kuala lumpur, Malaysia. Please correct that using only locations as returned by Google Maps API.

3) The CSV file attached was badly formatted (description), the categories in there are not present in the db (categories must be created in advance) and the location entered was incorrect. You must enter location exactly as spelled in location manager. Example:
City : Kuala Lumpur
Region: Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur
Country: Malaysia

Make sure to only use openoffice or libreoffice to create/edit CSV files. To add new lines in post_content, simply click ctrl + enter where you want the parapgraph to end.

Thanks
