As a user, I’m very stuck right now, and if it takes me this much effort to get out, I’m sure it will my visitors, so I’d like to turn this off if possible please?

Basically, my directory has got it into it’s head that I’m in Yorkshire right now (I’m not, but I was adding listings for businesses based in Yorkshire), so my /accommodation page for me is now only displaying any accommodation in yorkshire. I just cannot get away from this to show all the accommodation listed throughout my entire directory, as it was before. Ever since the region box turned yellow and included the word yorkshire, I’ve been totally stuck. The whole directory is doing this as it thinks I’m only interested in Yorkshire!

How do I completely disable this from ever happening please? I’d like people to be able to search for businesses within a distance of an area they type in, but I don’t want to end up stuck like this.

Thanks

Sally

This is how GD is planned to work with, you can add the switcher in the sidebar, in the menu or whenever you want as a shortcode.
There are other ways, like clicking on the Listing breadcrumb (in your case Accommodation) when you are inside a listing page.

Thanks, I ticked the location switcher box, but I can’t see any changes or an ‘Everywhere’ button. Is this a widget or something?

Thanks

Sally

The everywhere location must be enabled in MultiLocations settings. (see image attached)

Once enabled, it will always be the 1st option.

I don’t see the location switcher anywhere on your website.

Thanks
