    Hi,

    1. What is the best way and procedure to add a RIGHT SIDEBAR to the single and archive pages of Supreme Directory?
    2. I need to add the same RIGHT sidebar to the single and archive pages similar the the sidebar from listing-detail template.

    Let us know.
    Thanks

    SOLVED FOR SINGLE PAGES:

Sidebar for blog pages, can be enabled from customizer Body>Sidebar

    1. Still need to add sidebar for ARCHIVE pages(POST).

    Hi stargeoteam,

I’ve just forwarded this post to a developer and he will assist you with this further.

    Hi,

1 that’s not possible, the space of the sidebar is currently used by the fixed map. Where would you add it?

    Thanks

    Hi Paolo,

    1. I just need it for the NORMAL POST TYPE – not the Geodirectory post types. So only for blogs.
    2. For the BLOG posts I found the solution by (Sidebar for blog pages, can be enabled from customizer Body>Sidebar)
    3. NORMAL Post type ARCHIVE doesn’t have a map because they are only stories/posts/blogs. I solved this by modifying the ARCHIVE.PHP file and adding the SIDEBAR CODE from content.php — If there is a proper way to do this let me know. But this procedure solved my problem.

NOTE: I’m using supreme directory theme.

    Thanks

    Hey there,

Instead of modifying the original archive.php file, you can clone that file and name it like this archive-{post_type}.php and then add your modifications there.

Replace {post_type} with your post type. Ex: gd_place

This way only that post type will be affected by your changes.

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks
