The GeoDirectory plugin does not use the WordPress Table prefix.

Could that please be changed to follow the general WP design.

Best regards

John

May I ask why you need to have it like wordpress default (wp_)?

3 main reasons

1. to use the WP table prefix is good design standard, so far i have not seen any other plugin that uses its own table prefix.

2. I want to have more WP installation with GD the the same server. I cant do that because of the hardcoded table prefix. (no i have more than one database)

3. My backup software for WP only includes tables with th WP table prefix, as other tables is considered out of the WP installation scope (actually other addons handles the table prefix likewise)

Best regards
John

I sure hope you can fix this.

I suggest you add the WP table prefix in front of the geodir, like this

[WP table prefix]geodir_xxxx

default example

wp_geodir_custom_fields
