I’m using the popular post view widget in the home page content section. I’ve set this section to display at 100% with no sidebars.

I’d like to use grid view with six columns for displaying the listings in this section but it looks like the widget only offers grid view with 5 columns.

Any way to do what I want? This is a huge distinguishing factor for this build. There are 2 membership levels that both display on the home page. One at $500/mo and 1 at $69/mo so we have to make the $69/mo listings much smaller than the $500. We’re almost there with 5 columns but we need to be a bit smaller.

Your help is always appreciated.

If you want I can move this in the Jobs section of the forum.

Let us know,

Thanks

Before moving it can you just tell me what files (and their location) are controlling this? I can use fire bug to target the css but what files contain the php? I’m not proficient at php but I’d like to take a look myself first.

Please move it to the job section as well…(just in case). Let’s see if there’s any response from the community.

Thanks Paolo!

geodirectory/geodirectory-widgets/geodirectory_popular_widget.php

The popular post widget starts around line 70.

You can copy it’s code entirely, paste in your active theme functions.php, rename it and modify it. This way you will a new widget with your custom feature and it wil be safe to update GeoDirectory without losing your work.

Let us know how you went!

Thanks,
