V2 Feature Suggesstion

    Hi,

    Just a Feature suggestion to select the places (or any listing with “Business Hours” activated) to display only those are currently “Open”.

    1) Sorting Options
    Don’t you think its better to have something like “Currently Open” where a visitor can see all places which are open at the time of checking (visiting) the listings.

    2) Selection for “Currently Open” on the Map

    I was wondering how long it would take for this question to come up 🙂

    This is surprisingly technically challenging to do, it is in our plans but it won’t be till after GDv2 and all its addons are released.

    @stiofan,

    I am aware that request item 2) is rather challenging.
    Request item 1) may not be that difficult as you already have similar functions in place for other sort options.
    Anyway, I am glad that you have it in your plans after V2 stable release.
    No hurry, can wait.

    The difficult part affects both 1 & 2.
    For other fields/filters you just have to check if a field is a value or not, but with a time dependent query you have to calculate things and not only per day but also for several times per day.
