I have a problem in the widget area section: all the widgets in the “widget area” are automatically cleared. Has happened 5 times in 2 months.

1. Does it happen to any user? I would be interested to find the conflicting plugin.

2. Until now I’m restoring the widget area manually: is there any option to restore automatically?

the only reason I know that would wipe out all widgets has to do with the theme.

Widgets options are theme dependent, so if you change theme, rename the theme or anything that would amke wordpress think you are using a new theme, than widgets are reset to default.

GeoDirectory (as we far we know) can’t be responsible for this. I have never experienced this and I have at least 15 test website with GD and all addons installed.
