When I press the “select and upload CSV” button and choose my file everything goes fine. The “import now data” button appears. But when I press it nothing happens. No errors, no loading, nothing.

I have a stock install (fully updated) other than a few cosmetic widget/appearance changes and the following changes:
multi-locations plugin: enabled
country – default
region – multi regions enabled
city – multi city enabledcustom fields:
I added 1 non-manditory text field. *I added the variable to my .csv file
I also changed a bunch of the default listing fields to inactive.I used LibreOffice Calc to edit the sample csv file. I followed all the instructions at http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/core-general/#csv

October 13, 2014 at 12:36 pm #18179Hello Sam, your file is fine, just tested on my demo site, the issue is on your hosting, as it deny the loading of external data due to a mod_security rule.
Please read this for a detailed explanation, and eventually contact your host
October 13, 2014 at 8:53 pm #18250thanks, got the host to disable it and that fixed the issue.
I have a couple unrelated questions. Should I ask in here or make a new thread?
October 13, 2014 at 9:53 pm #18256You can ask them here, go ahead.
October 13, 2014 at 11:34 pm #182691. How can I make the listing page my homepage?
2. How/Where can I adjust the settings/character length for how fields are displayed when you click on markers on the map. I notice when I click on the markers on my map, some are displayed fine, some are off a little and sometimes there is a slider for up/down and left/right that is added to the box automatically and the text wrapping get kinda funky.
For example, it should look like this:
1232 Macdonald St.
(123) 456-789
Mon – Fri 5am – 6pm
Sat & Sun ClosedBut instead the wrapping gets warped like this:
1234
Macdonald St.
(123)
456-789
Mon – Fri
5am – 6pm
Sat & Sun ClosedOctober 13, 2014 at 11:55 pm #18270Regarding #2: Perhaps it could have something to do with my formating of my .csv file. Because I notice some of the markers display fine/normal. But others with the same number of characters or less are weirdly wrapped.
October 14, 2014 at 2:55 am #18274UPDATE********** regarding #2 I notice the same issue on your demo @ http://wpgeo.directory/
I believe it has something to do with the number of characters in the time field. Doing more testing now.
October 14, 2014 at 3:36 am #18277This is what I have noticed trying to find a temporary fix for this problem.
1. When you de-activate the “time” field under place settings > custom fields, it removed it from everywhere except the map. It still displaying it on the maps. (random bug I came across)
2. Next, I just deleted all the places, edited the original .csv (removed all the times from the time column), then re-uploaded the new file. The problem still persisted.
3. Next, I re-activated the “time” field and started adding characters into the time field on the profile. When I added “1111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111” into the time field. It stretched the wrapper and fixed all my formatting issues. I tested it on a couple other profiles and it fixed it every time.
October 14, 2014 at 3:55 am #182781. GD > design > home > Geodirectory home page > yes
2. I am not that sure how to adjust the infowindow. But I don’t think it has anything to do with the CSV upload or the input of the custom fields.
Let’s wait for Simone, he understands that better.October 14, 2014 at 4:28 am #18279This reply has been marked as private.October 14, 2014 at 4:43 am #18280This reply has been marked as private.October 14, 2014 at 9:38 am #182981. GD Home is also the page that will display the results for other countries, regions or cities.
http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/layout/#home
You can add widgets to it that will display the listings, just like the demo.
But you are correct that it will not have the dropdown.2. Simone might have some ideas here.
October 14, 2014 at 10:41 am #18303If I remember correctly, there was an user who had spotted this issue some time ago, in the infomap windows in minimap..
I thought it was fixed, I will check and eventually add this in the project manager -
