Ok, there’s a closed post that has me wondering about some things… I am not sure I understand what I’m getting into. I wish there was a thorough, good video I could watch on this real quick. But, really, maybe everyone has different expectations. The post was a bit scary: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/snakeoil-affiliatewp-integration-and-duplicate-addons/
I expect the affiliate program to at least enable people to 1.) become an user (presumably using userWP or under some CPT I create) and affiliate (completing some form). Correct?
I assume that affiliate will be able to get commission from “one time” or “subscription” payments whether they be monthly, annually, etc… based on whatever pricing plan the listing owner chooses. Correct?
I’m assuming there is maybe two ways a listing is going to be associated with an affiliate. Maybe they’re both by some affiliate code: one because the affiliate started a listing that the lister claimed. Or two because the lister created a listing and entered an affiliate’s code. Correct? and/or are there other ways?
Lastly, there are some really cool plugins/add ons like: Tiered Affiliate Rates, Affiliate Landing Pages, Signup Referrals, Lifetime Commissions, Recurring Referrals, and PayPal Payouts to name a few. What addon’s work/don’t work?
