I created some categories and added different icons. Later I switched the WP to SSL(adjusted the settings in the admin area). Now in the admin area under Event categories, the icons do not show.

    The image address shows:

    https://domain.com/en/wp-content/uploadshttp://domain.com/en/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/Restaurants.png

This happens for all listing types. In the frontend this causes issues with markers on the map. The section

    <span class=”geodir-pinpoint” style=”background:url

appears as http instead of https and as a result a SSL warning for non secure elements on the page.

Is this a WP issue or Geodirectory? Any suggestion on a fix?

    Any assistance appreciated.

    Hi,

this is not an issue with WP or GD, it is an incomplete transfer from http to https.

Then you move a website from http to https it is like changing domain. You MUST find and replace all instance of your URL with http:// in the database and replace them with https://

We suggest to use a tool like this to do so: https://interconnectit.com/products/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/

    Thanks
