For several months, I have been working to figure out why our users are not able to log on. We are using USERS WP with Geodirectory Supreme theme.

Here’s what happens: A registered user enters username and password. The website acts like it is processing, then takes user back to home page with no login processed.

There is a work around if a registered user clicks to add a listing, then the login form will work. The user is able to enter the username and password effectively.

I took off the My Account option on the menu in an effort to re-direct all users to the login page, but this is still not working – a user has to first click to Add Listing. ???

Please help! We are losing people who get frustrated with the login process.

Thanks for your message. I’ve deactivated the “WordPress Social Login” plugin and it seems to work fine now. Could you please confirm?

Yes – that did it. So…we can’t use the social media login option?

It’s fine, but would like to see this added – makes it easier for people to interact.

Well…this morning I am unable to log in again – even via the admin page. Was going to add the social login.

Again, the only work around is to click ADD PLACE and somehow the log in “connects”

OK…I played with it and added a “?” to custom link in the menu. It seems like it works now. For whatever reason, the link …/login/ was not formatting correctly. When I changed it to …/login/?, it now sets up with the correct logic.
