the link to the “Getting started guide” is broken when using the setup wizard

Also, before that it asked me to select a sidebar location and it only had footer as an option. Is that because I didn’t have a theme setup yet?

and ideally those links would open in a new tab or window instead of pulling you away from the setup wizard…

Thanks for reporting, we will take a look at that.

About the sidebar selection, yes, that is correct, it can only pick out the sidebars of the active theme.
