Hi, the side widget not showing any listings on gd detail page . The same sidebar is working on the home page, CPT page and buddypress members pages. I’m not an expert by normally I can work my way around things , but this has me beat.
On the gd detail page when I do a page preview Wp Bakery throws up errors regarding the [gd_notifications] shortcode, image attached. I have deactivated plugins I suspected with no fix. I have removed any custom css which may have caused an issue with no success. This is just happening on the GD Detail page and no other. images attached. Please Help

    You are using Kleo.
The Kleo authors performed some integration with GDV1, but the system they use for sidebars and headers is not compatible with GDV2 templates.

You can certainly use GD Widgets and shortcodes with the builder you are using, though it will add opinionated styles from the theme.

However you will need to converse with the authors about how to use the sidebar and header system when they are ready for GDV2.

You can read a doc here about how to pick a theme for GDV2, including information about sidebars.

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/themes/

From what I have seen with Kleo, the issue is that the sidebars and headers that are set in the page template are not done the “WP Way” so they are not ‘picked up’.

You could try a different plugin for creating sidebars but we haven’t tested any at this time.

Problem is fixed. On a new website, when using multi location and there aren’t many listings in your database, check that the location filter is not enabled. GD_listings shortcode in the sidebar will not show any listings if they are too far from the listing displayed on the detail page. The fix was simply unticking the checkbox for “Enable location filter”.
This problem can happen with any theme. You can’t just palm off the problem saying its a issue with the theme developer. Thanks for your Help.

I’m sorry, I misunderstood the problem.
    Glad you got it fixed!
