Hi there,
The typical archive Pages for Categories and Tags are in a way typical Category-Pages in an online shop.
So why not expand it a bit and give users more context AND give google and other searchpages a reason to index that pages as a good source for users, with a lot of informational content.
How about building a widget that can show associated Blog posts for that category or associated other CPTs with the same Tag or something. So we get richer results on that Page and we have a chance to rank the category and Tag archive Pages even better.
