Real Estate plug in

Hello
I have been dabbling with GD for several years and I am now ready to go all in to release my community directory. My directory will be like a lot of yous and highlight a specific community. I am a Realtor but will not be using the feeds from the MLS. I want to have users enter their real estate listings as both coming soon and current. I will have a 30 or 60 day window where they expire. Has anyone done much with the real estate plug in? Any advice on how to best roll it our would be greatly appreciated. Have a great day guys

Yes, it is awesome. My goal is to have the theme of the site be focused on the what to do, where to eat, etc. but have a section (page / tab) just for real estate. Will the plug in operate in the background in a theme that is designed for the other things like restaurants etc.?

GoBigCity GD can do the restaurants too, and the real estate plugin will only show were set to, so you would just need separate templates for each.

The two templates will not conflict with each other?

So to confirm, I can have the GD site do all of the directory stuff for restaurants, hotels etc. and also have the real estate plug in (template) also running on the same website? Sorry to complicate the question, it just seems like having two templates will be a challenge. Thanks and I love GD. Can't wait to launch.

joebjorklund Yes, if you have different industries such as real estate and restaurants, then its best to use the Custom Post Type addon to create a whole new post type, in the CPT settings, you can set different templates, its pretty easy.
