Edit Listing Button Goes to 404

I put the "Author Actions" widget on the GD Item Template and made it only visible to the author that owns the listing on my categories page. Whenever a user clicks the "Edit" button on that page, they are directed to a 404 page. What am I missing? I don't want users to be able to "claim" listings, just edit existing ones that I've assigned to them.

I think just delete the buttons and put them back. But I never use the buttons anymore. Inside the user account I made a page 'your listings' where people can see all their own listings and edit, delete and replace them. This way the ads can only be reached by logged in users through a link inside their personal account.
