To remove the white space if there is no data, you have to click on the surrounding BS > (list-group-item) element containing the GD > Post Meta element.
In the block options on the right, click on the Advanced tab and scroll down to Visibility Conditions and click Set Block Visibility.
Now you can set up a rule to show/hide the block.
Example
Rule: GD Field
<Select the GD field to show/hide>
Select: is empty
What should happen if rules met.
Hide Block
What should happen if rules NOT met.
Show Block
You have repeat the above process for each and every field that you want to hide.
