For a recent project involving GeoDirectory, I developed a small addon plugin designed to enhance the "Add Listing" form experience, featuring a clear, step-by-step wizard with progress indicators and customizable labels.

Hi Cesare, there is no way to test the front-end add listing form with steps. The Test user is too restricted...

Hey, what you're working on is really cool! I've been thinking about creating an Add Listing Wizard for a long time, as I find it much more user-friendly.
Note:

Example: When I want to enter something in “Name,” I often get bugged after one letter in the next field ‘email’ (also in “Location”).
If you optimize the UI/UX even further and make it more modern, especially the mobile version, I would definitely be interested in integrating your version into my website 🙂

Quick update: I’ve just pushed a fix for the issue you mentioned where typing in “Name” would suddenly nudge focus into “Email/Location.” The culprit was over-eager live validation refreshing the UI mid-keystroke. Now validation only fires on Next/Submit, so typing feels stable and smooth. You can now test it here: https://cesarecantagalli.pro/test/

Hi, thanks for testing and for the kind words!

Quick clarification: I only maintain my published add-ons (PageBreak Steps and RadioIcons). I’m not a GeoDirectory core developer. If the focus jump is happening on pages that don’t use my wizard or RadioIcons fields, it’s likely outside my plugins — but I’m happy to help narrow it down.

Could you share:
Which pages/URLs show the issue? Are they using PageBreak Steps (and which style) or RadioIcons?
Simple steps to reproduce (which field you type in, where focus jumps).
Device + browser + OS, and versions (WordPress, GeoDirectory, my plugin version).

If you’d like to verify behavior directly, please enter the sandbox and make edits there (enable/disable my plugin to compare). That will let me see the exact setup and push a targeted fix if it’s on my side.

✓ Native Public Shortcode (Image Tiles) — Use “[gdri_categories]” to render image category tiles on any page.

✓ Generator UI — In GD Radio Icons → General, select “Layout Shortcode” and “Shortcode card size”; copy the “Shortcode (copy-only)” string and paste it where you need.
