📢 Exciting Announcement: Our New Community Forums Are Live! 🎉
Facebook is great for networking but not ideal for searching and organizing information. What if I told you we are bringing back forums to give the community a better way to support each other?
We are excited to introduce our brand-new community forums 🎊, a space created to bring us closer as a community, share knowledge, and help each other grow. Here is how the forums work:
1️⃣ General Section: Open to All
The General Section is accessible to everyone. Use this space to:
- Share tips and tricks.
- Ask marketing or operational questions.
- Discuss general topics relevant to our community.
Note: Support requests posted here will be deleted without exception. For official support, please submit a ticket as usual.
2️⃣ Add-On Sections: Full Membership Perks
Each add-on has its dedicated section. Here is how access works:
- Full Membership Users: You can post and reply freely in all add-on sections.
- Active License Holders: You can post and reply only in the section for the add-on you have a valid license for.
- Free Plugin Users: You can read questions and answers in the forums but cannot post or reply. For support, free users should use the WordPress.org forums at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/geodirectory/.
While we will monitor the forums as we do the Facebook group, these forums are not for official support. This space is for the community to help each other. For official support, please submit a ticket through our support page.
Important: Do not tag admins or team members for support. Violations will result in warnings or removal from the forums.
3️⃣ Forum Rules: Same as the Facebook Group
To keep the forums welcoming and productive, please follow these rules:
🤝 Be Kind and Courteous
Healthy debates are great, but respect and kindness are required.
🚫 No Hate Speech or Bullying
Everyone should feel safe. Discrimination or degrading comments about race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender, or identity are not tolerated.
📛 No Promotions or Spam
Please add value to the group. Self-promotion, spam, and irrelevant links are not allowed. Questions about other directory plugins, themes, or tools are also prohibited.
🔒 Respect Everyone’s Privacy
This is a trusted space for open discussions. Keep sensitive or private information within the group.
❌ No Expectation of GeoDirectory Team Support
Official support is provided exclusively through our support system.
⚠️ Do Not Tag Admins or Support Team Members
Admins and team members may join discussions but cannot be tagged for assistance. Repeated violations will lead to warnings or removal from the forums.
4️⃣ Forums Are in BETA
🚧 Please note that the forums are currently in BETA. If you encounter a bug or glitch, please report it so we can address it promptly and improve your experience.
5️⃣ Login Made Easy
Users are synced with our main website, so you can log in using your existing credentials. Make sure you are using the credentials linked to your active membership.
