Does anyone do custom coding for GeoD?

Unless I'm mistaken, there is no way to create a breadcrumb that includes the location hierarchy of a business.

Here is an image example that I found on another directory (other than wordpress and yoast, I have no idea what technology they are using).

I am looking to create a plugin/shortcode/functions.php dropin that will output what you see on the example. Each of those locations, other than the business itself, links to the location pages for the region and city.

Any ideas about how we can make this happen?

You can use the GD > Locations widget to create links to the region and city of a listing.
For example, this will create a link to the region page of the listing:

In theory this should work! I was hoping it would work! But it didn't. I was going to have to duplicate the widget to get both the region and city. Fine. BUT, the output was wrong! Wrong region and wrong city. In fact, the city and region didn't correctly match either.

Anyone else have more ideas?

I'm not sure exactly what you try to do, but conditional filds may work better. I use a form on one of my websites where fashion is sold. So someone selects a category (ladies fashion), and once that is selected the next field shows up: brand.

As it kind of marries fields depending on what is filled in in a previous field you can use shortcodes for the output. The advantage is that in for example the single listing template you can create like 20 different shortcodes below eachother, but as only the applicable ones are shown a visitor alsways only ses the right data.

At https://zoeket.nl/advertenties/tassen/goestsjie-tas/731/ below the images the two colums represent an example. As shortcodes can be put anywhere you can alo build what you want with this probably.
