Deleting location deleted associated listing

I had a city location that I wanted to delete as it should be a neighbourhood. This location had one listing associated with it.

I wanted to delete the city before creating the neighbourhood as I wanted to prevent a slug similar to "/location-1" or "/location-2".

I deleted the city, but then couldn't find the associated listing to update its new location. I'm unable to now find the listing in wp-admin.

It appears that the number of published listings dropped by one and I can't search for the listing by title, so it appears it has been deleted along with the location or lost.

You needed to change its location (even to a temporary one) before deleting it. Deleting the location deletes all its listings, because listings cannot exist without a location.
