Recurring Event not following off calendar schedule

I am having issues only with recurring events lingering. Once you click the actual event it shows the correct future dates but leaves the wrong date on the highlight blurb. What am I doing wrong.

I had that too and if I'm remembering correctly, setting Filters on the Archive template's GD Listings block to Show Events: Ongoing + Upcoming and then checking the "Show single listing for recurring event" box fixed it. It's been a minute so I'm not 100% sure if that's all you need to do, but worth a try.
