Recurring Event not following off calendar schedule

I am having issues only with recurring events lingering. Once you click the actual event it shows the correct future dates but leaves the wrong date on the highlight blurb. What am I doing wrong.

I had that too and if I'm remembering correctly, setting Filters on the Archive template's GD Listings block to Show Events: Ongoing + Upcoming and then checking the "Show single listing for recurring event" box fixed it. It's been a minute so I'm not 100% sure if that's all you need to do, but worth a try.

Newbie so bear with me.
If I open the GD - Single Template (using Classifieds theme) I can see the GD > Output Location block. I tested, and if I 'add' a GD > Events Schedules block, I can definitely adjust it to 'upcoming'.
What I am missing is where I can change it for just one CPT. I am guessing that I have to duplicate the GD Single - Template and then assign it to that CPT and then redesign the entire template removing the stock GD > Output Location block with multiple more specific ones.
Am I on the right track?
Problem is that you cannot 'duplicate' a GD Single Template so I assume I have to copy and paste all the containers one by one into a new template?

Am I completely off-track?

Figured it out. Tedious but works. Indeed, I'm having to recreate individual GD Single based templates. Lots of work but it'll be worth it, I'm sure.
