Real Estate Theme Sales Status

I'm using the real estate theme and would like to add "For Rent" and "Leased" to the Sales Status feature.
Is this possible? Apart from the label of the in the status and a search criteria, does this attribute perform anything else with the theme?

trendcapital I have the exact same request. I work with auctions and for me the listing status could include things like "Withdrawn" or "Unsold". Also it would be nice to be able to display a "For Sale" badge instead of "Published" which is the current default listing status. I think the main advantage with the listing status feature is that the listing owner can very easily alter the current status of the listing on the front end under the "Author Actions" block/widget. Maybe it could be included in future updates to allow for admin defined listing statuses for classifieds instead of the current static 3.

This can be enabled in the CPT settings. Places > Settings > General > Classifieds/Real-Estate Sold Settings

stiofan How do you add additional states i.e. "Leased"? It only has "Sale Agreed", "Under Offer" and "Sold" as options. You can not add any additional states here.

I just checked, and nobody ever asked this through the ticketing system, which is why it was never implemented. This would take 5 minutes to implement... Please create a ticket and include a link to this forum post. I'll flag it for the developers.
