How to show Categories in a two or three column list format?

Hello, I am learning GeoDirectory. I cannot figure out how to show Categories (Places) in a two or three column list format in alphabetical order. I have around 40 categories for a business listing, and the square blocks for categories are too many. Is there a way to do this? I am surprised that a listing plugin would not have this feature as a setting. At least, I cannot find it.

Check the settings of the GD > Categories widget, and read more at

You can choose how many items you want in each row.

Edit the settings of the blocks to make them smaller if that suits you better.
