GD >> Dynamic Content not working

When editing the GD Single template in Elementor, I add GD >> Dynamic Content
I then add Key Field such as city ( City ) and it literally shows the word City.
When I preview it literally shows the word City.
Not New York .
I don't understand Field Conditions as I do not want any, but I tried multiple selections hoping it would help.
It did not help.
And I did read the help and searched YouTube. Seems the YouTube videos are old or added a dynamic image.

gz1968 The Dynamic Content in Documentation needs updating. I can't make heads or tails out of it.

1) It does not look like the interface when I added GD > Dynamic Content
2) the logic has a default of "Field Condition" = "is not equal" which is confusing. No idea. I tried other choices. Nothing gets "New York" to show.
3) When I selected city (City), I want to see "New York". Instead, Elementor, Preview, and Website show "City".
4) In YouTube it seems people just add it, choose "Field Key", and it works. Did not work by default for me.

gz1968 Solution!!
So I apparantly got confused. So the step was not to add GD > Dynamic Content.

The Step was to add
1) Title (under Basic)
2) Then in the Title box that appears, click on the right icon. This changes the menu on the left then.
3) On the menu that appeared on the left, click on small icon for "Dynamic Tags".
4) Choose "GD Field". Then click on small wrench icon and choose the desired field.
