Hello, we have a “members” section on our site and we will be assigning users to author certain listings. Is there a way to dynamically link to their listing? As it now stands, the author options appear when users view their own listings…which means they need to search for their listing. Is there an easier way? Thank you.

    Hi Joy,

Thanks for your post. I would recommend installing userswp.io plugin https://userswp.io/ and when your users want to see its own listing, they just have to check their own profile page.

Thanks for the suggestion Kor, but we are using BuddyBoss which is pretty much integrated with Buddypress – is there no way to easily access authored listings via link besides creating another dashboard area for our users with Users WP?

Did you try the BP integration addon?

I am not sure I understand what you are looking for.

If you don’t use the BP integration addon you can add your own custom tabs, with GD Listings:

We aren’t using the BP integration and are trying to make it easy for our users to access their listings to edit them – without the need to 1) navigate to your profile, 2) view your listings, 3) click on the listing you need to edit, then finally 4) click on the “Edit” link to actually get to edit their listing.

Is there any option that we can use to perhaps link their “edit listing” form to their owned listing within the navigation menu? Each user will only own a singular listing so ideally if they click on their “Edit my Listing” link in their menu, they would be directed to the listing form. Actually even if it doesn’t take them to the listing form, having a link to their owned listing would be good too…

I’ll look at the link you provided as well, maybe I can make something work with that too. Our demographics come from an older group so keeping things as simple as possible has been important. Thank you!

Sorry to disappoint but GD doesn’t have a feature like that.
