How do I add excerpt to grid view?

    I cant seem to get my description to come up in grid view on listing pages OR the widget in front content. It is possible that i’ve overlooked something boneheaded. I would actually like to replace ‘no review’ and ‘add to favorites’ with just an excerpt and ‘pinpoint’ underneath.

    Anyone? Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

    There is no option to make Description to appear in each list in grid view, to avoid inconsistency of the size of the box due to different Description length.

    Lame… ok. How can I replace ‘add to fav’ and ‘no reviews’ with ‘telephone’ and ‘address’?

    Hi,

    For this u have to user template override feature. Plz copy listing-gridview.php from geodirectory/geodirectory-templates and place it in theme folder, make whatever changes u want in it.

    I’ve got the same problem.
    I’ve added excerpt data to entries, and set value to something like 30-50, but can’t see that it actually does anything.
    I’d like to have a summary of entries made available in my results
