Location manager import locations

    I’m using Geodirectory primarily for city location (lat,long). I have created a plugin that reads the (lat, long) information form the location manager location table to display information on the city page in a widget.
    I have a very large city mysql dump (2 million cities) that I have structured according to Location table structure. When I used that table the I created with two million cities, location manager comes to a complete halt.
    My question is, do I need to import the location information via the import&export location menu in Geodirectory from a CSV file for this to work? or can is it the two million cities is just a killer for Geodirectory?
