Make Address Optional

Some “services” may or may not want an address. I understand I can set a CPT to not display an address. However, I prefer the “lister” determine this. Ideally a listing could select “do not display address” when adding their listing. And/or ideally the address fields could be optional (e.g. a lister may decide to only put the state or only the state and city this way people don’t know where they live but know if they’re close enough to be a practical service for consideration). This is very pretty significant. Is there a way to do this?
