    Hi,

I just updated to the new version of Jupiter theme (4.1) and the site is all messed up now. Is there something I have to do in the theme compatibility section? Can you have a look please?

    Thanks

    Hi,

    there is a jQuery error:

    ReferenceError: abb is not defined
    http://yoursite.com/wp-content/themes/jupiter/js/min/scripts-vendors-ck.js
    Line 13

With GD Booster the problem becames bigger for obvious reasons, so I momentarely deactivated it.

I’ve already alerted Stiofan to have a look and see where the error is coming from.

    We will keep you updated.

    Thanks for your patience,

Please bring this up with the theme dev, even when i rename your entire plugins folder (to disable all pluigns, without losing settings) the JS error is still present

    Hi Stiofan,
    they told me this:

“Please change Child theme to main theme and see if it fixes the problem.
I guess that you override some old files into your child theme which you need to change and use new files.
In general please do as follows:
Would you please do tests below and give us the result:
1- Change from Child Theme (If you use one) to Main theme and see if it fixes the problem.
2- Deactivate all 3rd party plugins and see if it fixes the problem.
3- Go to Theme Options -> Advanced Custom JS (and test Custom CSS) and remove any code (If you have code there) temporarily and see if it fixes the problem.
4- Please change default theme of your website to something different for example twenty fourteen, and see if the problem is still there. (Keep Visual Composer active on this case.)

I changed to the Main theme and it works ok. What does this mean? Should I use the Main theme or can I change something in the Child to keep it working?

    Thank you,
    Tomas

    Hi Aprils,

how to manage you Jupiter Child theme and the theme updates is something you need to solve with the theme author. We don’t provide support for his product too.

For the GD Booster problem, I’ve asked to Stiofan to have a look.

    Thanks for your patience,

    Hello,

You now have javascript errors on your page and they seem to be emanating from that same file.

You will need to fix those before GD Booster will work as if there are javascript errors GD Booster will only make things worse.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
