Advanced Search Fields

I installed the Advanced Search extension. When I go into the settings (Places -> Settings -> Search), I only see 4 fields which I can put into the Advanced Search form: Fieldset (section separator), Search By Distance, Category, Address.

I want to search by price, bedrooms, bathrooms, and other categories. How do i do this? Also, I raised 2 email support tickets but received no email confirmation. Will I receive any assistance?

It's rather easy. Go to places >> settings. Now you see the tabs and once of them is search. To the left it shows fields you can add as advanced search fields. Please note that when you add a field it should be set to not being added to the main searchbar. Also make sue your searchbar is set to show the button for advanced search.

opadalton Thank you for replying. I understand those instructions, but I only see 4 fields: Fieldset, Search by Distance, Address, and Category. Shouldn't there be more fields than that? How do i search by Price?

It is fairly easy. As far as I know almost any field can be added to advanced sarch, I will howver use price as an example.

If you go to places >>> settings you see al the fields in the form one neds to post a place online.

Select 'price' and the details will open on the left side of the screen.

Now look for the button 'advanced' at the bottom and click it. Now more options are visible.

Activate 'include this field in sorting options'.

Save it.

If I'm not mistaking 'price'' should now show up in th search tab under places >>> settings. Click it and make sure that the setting is such that it is NOT entered to the main searchbar (it is a radio button).
