Introduction

GD > Ninja Forms is a widget/block/shortcode that you can use to display a Ninja Form.

The Ninja Form can be specifically for the purpose of 1) Sending email to the listing email address or 2) Claiming the listing.

Preparation

For the guide you have completed the following:

1. Setup Geodirectory (Beta Version 2.0.0.5-beta or higher)
2. Install and Activate Ninja Forms

Setup the default forms

1. Create a GeoDirectory Claim Form
2. Create a GeoDirectory Contact Form

Contact Form Setup

Setup the Contact Email field for each CPT

Visit the Custom Post Type settings -> Custom Fields
Make sure that the “Contact Email” field has been added to the Custom Post Type
Verify that the email field has the key ’email’

Setup the form

Visit the Ninja Forms Settings -> New
Click on GeoDirectory Contact Form
The form will appear on the screen
Find the Publish button in the top right and submit the form.

Setup a Sidebar widget

Visit WP Backend – Appearance – Widgets
Find GD > Ninja Forms on the left
Click, and choose the sidebar that is used on your GD Details page
Adjust the settings
– Choose the GeoDirectory Contact Form
– Expand the Advanced Settings (Blue button)
– Choose the text for the form button
– Choose whether to show a button or text link
– Save
