Google map api place types

    Hi,

    I would like to put on the google map of the homepage some place types like bars and nightclubs .. how can i do that?

    They should appear there automatically if you add any listings to your directory.
    Or do you mean in the ribbon along the bottom of the map? In that case you need to create separate Custom Post Types [CPT], see

    Thank you for your answer.

    I speak on the google map with Places API Web Service as on https://www.google.com/maps/@43.6329847,3.8962184,18.5z or there are icons for each place types.

    I also thought but no there is nothing to set it up. Yet the map on “add-listing” shows these icons but not on the home page: s

    By default, Google listings are not visible on your public maps.
    You need to change the visibility of the POI in the settings of the addon, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/custom-google-maps/

    GD > Custom Google Maps > edit the map of your choice > see image
    I don’t think you can filter POI.business by just bars and nightclubs …

    There is no way to do that, GeoDirectory is intended to be used to submit listings, not to use Google Places.

    Ok I wanted to be able to display just bars and night clubs to be able to put a button to add them directly in database
